How soon after a Merchant is onboarded can they process a transaction?

ACH: A merchant can process an ACH payment immediately so long as the funding source has been verified.

Credit Card: Due to a delay at Elavon, the processor, card payments cannot be processed successfully in the first 24 hours following the onboarding of a new sub-merchant.
